'Winter Lights': Celebrate the holidays in Santa Rosa with the annual tree lighting celebration in Old Courthouse Square from 5 to 7:30 tonight. The evening includes music, singing, an appearance by Santa Claus, a toy drive and light refreshments. santa-rosa.ca.us.

Saturday, Nov. 30

'Santa's Riverboat Arrival': Santa and Mrs. Claus sail into the Petaluma River Turning Basin at noon Saturday and disembark in the Golden Eagle Shopping Center to greet children and distribute candy. Performers will be on hand at the shopping center starting at 11 a.m. visitpetaluma.com.

Festival of Lights: At the Trentadue Winery in Geyserville, there will be thousands of lights all over the buildings and grounds. Tosh Saves the World: The Comedy Central host of all things funny comes to the Wells Fargo Center, joined by special guests. Holiday Comic and Toy Show: Over 100 tables of toys, comics, comic creators, games and more will be this Santa Rosa event.
