She has served in a number of leadership roles since joining Kaiser in 1990, including patient care services manager and assistant medical group administrator. Ellen Maremont Silver has been named director of communications and marketing at Santa Rosa Junior College. Previously, she served as regional communications director for the American Red Cross and marketing and public relations manager for O’Reilly Media, Inc.
Luana Vaetoe has been promoted to chief executive officer at Becoming Independent, a Santa Rosa nonprofit serving people with disabilities. Previously, she served as director of human resources.

David Palma has joined RE/MAX Full Spectrum as a real estate agent in its Ukiah office. He graduated last year from California State University Sacramento with a degree in organizational communications.
