  • Randall Behrens, vice president and small business loan officer at First Community Bank

Randall Behrens has joined First Community Bank as vice president and small business loan officer. Previously, he served as vice president and business development officer for Heritage Bank, working in its Santa Rosa office. He also worked with Greater Bay Bancorp of Santa Rosa.

Mary Kaye Gerski has been named executive director of the Community and Family Services Agency. She replaces Katrina Thurman, who is now chief administrative officer of Social Advocates for Youth (SAY).

Previously, Gerski served as chief executive of Rebekah Children's Services in Santa Clara County. She is also incoming president of the California Alliance for Children and Families.

Jen Walsh has been named assistant winemaker at Benovia Winery. Previously, she served as enologist for Miner Family Winery in Oakville. Walsh has also served as a vineyard and cellar hand for wineries in New Zealand and Chile.

Dr. Dominic Mintalucci has joined the Hand Center at Santa Rosa Orthopaedic Medical Group. Dr. Mintalucci is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in microsurgical, hand and upper extremity surgery.

Nicholas Egan has joined The Healdsburg School as its new associate head of school. Previously, he taught and served as assistant dean of students at Sonoma Country Day School.

TelePacific Communications has opened a branch office in Petaluma. Christine Ruane has been named general manager. The company provides voice, data and Internet service to small- and medium-sized businesses. For information, visit www.telepacific.com.

Kate O'Hare-Palmer has been named chair of the national Vietnam Veterans of America committee on women veterans. The Petaluma resident has served in the same capacity on the VVA state council.

Tom Woodhead has been appointed assistant director of debate at St. Vincent High School in Petaluma. Previously, he was assistant debate coach at Damien High School in LaVerne.

Newcomers, a social organization for newly arrived and long-term residents in Sonoma County, has elected a new board: Gloria Frere and Kathryn Raimondi, co-presidents; Heidi Klyn, 1st vice president; and Shera Carlton, 2nd vice president. The group meets every second Tuesday at Fountaingrove Golf & Athletic Club, 1525 Fountaingrove Parkway.
