  • Brandon Stout, vice president at McDonald-Leavitt Insurance Agency

Brandon Stout has been promoted to vice president at McDonald-Leavitt Insurance Agency to work in the Leavitt Group's restaurant insurance program. Before joining the Santa Rosa company, he worked in sales at State Farm and served as an aerovac medic in the U.S. Air Force.

Drs. Armando de Pala Jr. and Laurie Doolittle are among 13 new physicians who are joining Annadel Medical Group, which provides care at St. Joseph Health facilities. Both specialize in pediatrics.

De Pala, who came from his own private practice in Petaluma, helped found Annadel Medical Group's pediatrics office in Petaluma. He received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines.

Doolittle worked with Dr. de Pala at his private practice. She received her medical degree from Tulane University.

Three recent graduates of the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency have accepted positions at Santa Rosa Community Health Centers.

Drs. Emily Shaw and Jessica Les are family physicians at Vista Family Health Center. Dr. Laura Martin is a family physician at the Southwest Community Health Center.

Jim Aljian has formed Aljian Capital Management. Jessica Markarian is an associate. Aljian, managing partner of the firm, has been a financial advisor for more than 26 years working for investment firms such as PaineWebber, Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. Ana Stone has joined Wine Country Party & Events as director of strategic accounts for the Sonoma company. Previously, she was an outside sales consultant at Classic Party Rentals in Napa.

Kristie Sheppard, executive director of the Napa Valley Museum, has joined the board of directors of the California Wine Discovery Museum in Santa Rosa. Other board members include Lindsay Ausain, Bill Carle, Carol Spindler O'Hara and John Burgess.

Radiant Research has moved its Santa Rosa office to 4720 Hoen Ave. Since 1999, the office has conducted more than 200 clinical trials evaluating new medications and medical devices covering a broad spectrum of diseases.
